Into The Woods Jr.
Have you ever had a wish, like in your favorite fairytales? The baker and his wife wish for a child, Cinderella to go to the Kings festival, Jack for his beanstalk. In this award winning fairytale reimagining by Stephen Sondheim, be carful what you wish for because you might have to go Into the Woods to get it.
Ages 11 - 14 | Weekdays at 9am-4pm
Shows on the 21st 6:30pm and the 22nd at 3pm and 7pm
Building with Basics Camp
This two week summer camp gives your young performer all the basics of theater and helps them apply them to create their very own show! Watch these brilliant young performers write, design, and star in a show of their own making.
Ages 11 - 14 | Weekdays at 9am-4pm
One show on the 30th at 6pm
Disney’s Winnie The Pooh
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Woods, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way we’ll meet familiar faces like Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, and Owl but soon discover our friend Christopher Robin has been captured! Will they be able to rescue him and finally find Pooh his afternoon snack?
Ages 6-10 | Weekdays; 9am-1pm
Shows the 16th at 6pm and 17th at 1pm and 6p
New Works at Gabriella's Smile Foundation
New Works volunteered at the Gabriella’s Smile Foundation working with the founders to bring improv and storytelling games to the children.
A Theatrical Coffee Break
A Theatrical Coffee break is your opportunity to come and meet other young artists in San Antonio. Come and talk about the work you are doing / hope to do and learn more about what New Works is currently ‘brewing’ up.
